POLIPOROUS ®|普立瑞®是在水中诞生的新型仿生高分子微纳通孔材料,具有典型的网状气固结构。这种结构经过精心调制,可以赋予POLIPOROUS®|普立瑞®奇特的透气不透水,且透气性可调节的性质,从而用于气体的控制释放。
POLIPOROUS®|普立瑞®的创制源自大自然的启迪。众所周知,在生物界,生物膜的重要作用就是在发挥隔离作用的同时,允许物质(包括气体)的选择性透过,这是新陈代谢、生命现象能够发生的基础。为了学习自然,实现透气不透水,在POLIPOROUS®|普立瑞®的制造过程中,科研人员巧妙地以不可聚合的环境友好溶剂水作为造孔剂,单体聚合成型之后,再将造孔剂除去,从而获得所需要的透气不透水材料。材料的透气性可通过改变造孔剂占比、造孔剂分散形式等调节。
POLIPOROUS®IS A NEW BIOMIMETIC AND POLYMERIC MICRO-NANOPOROUS MATERIAL BORN IN WATER, WHICH FEATURES A TYPICAL MESH GAS-SOLID STRUCTURE. THIS STRUCTURAL FEATURE ALLOWS POLIPOROUS®TO BE CAREFULLY MODULATED TO MAKE IT A PECULIAR BREATHABLE BUT WATERTIGHT MATERIAL, WITH ADJUSTABLE AIR PERMEABILITY FOR CONTROLLED RELEASE OF GASES.
THE CREATION OF POLIPOROUS®WAS INSPIRED BY NATURE. AS WE ALL KNOW, IN THE BIOLOGICAL WORLD, THE IMPORTANT ROLE OF BIOLOGICAL MEMBRANE IS TO ALLOW THE SELECTIVE PERMEATION OF SUBSTANCES (INCLUDING GASES) WHILE PLAYING THE ROLE OF ISOLATION, WHICH IS THE BASIS FOR METABOLISM AND LIFE PHENOMENA. IN ORDER TO LEARN FROM NATURE AND ACHIEVE BREATHABILITY AND IMPERMEABILITY, OUR RESEARCHERS, IN THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF POLIPOROUS®, CLEVERLY USED NON-POLYMERIZABLE ECO-FRIENDLY SOLVENT WATER AS THE PORE FORMING AGENT, AND AFTER POLYMERIZATION, THEY REMOVED THE PORE FORMING AGENT TO OBTAIN THE BREATHABLE AND IMPERMEABLE MATERIALS. IMPORTANTLY, THEY CAN ALSO ADJUST THE AIR PERMEABILITY OF THE MATERIALS BY CHANGING THE PROPORTION AND THE DISPERSION OF PORE FORMING AGENT.
